After Suriya's astounding success with 'Singam' in which Anushka played the female lead, it is younger brother Karthi's turn to pair up with her.
Grapevine has it that Anushka and Karthi will be pairing up for a movie that is to be directed by Suraaj.
Karthi is now busy with 'Saguni', directed by Shankar Dayal and is expected to move on to Suraaj's project after its completion. Suraaj is an established director in Kollywood with films like 'Padikathavan' and 'Mappillai' under his belt.
It must be said that Anushka is second time lucky as she was the initial choice to play Karthi's pair in 'Siruthai' but owing to her busy schedule at that time, she couldn't sign the dotted lines. Therefore, when the opportunity knocked at her door once again she lapped it up, sources say.
