Actress gets paid more than actors

Although higher wages for Actors in Tamil cinema, actresses nowadays are paid equally. Salary of the heroines in Tamil cinema now is in a great hike .. how do we know?

A producer of Tamil films has reported ; Illeana's salary comes in pair with Vijay in the recent film and it equals (for a film only) a quarter of a million rupees (one hundred twenty five thousand). Next in the list comes Asin.  Genelia too is not left out.

Tamanna's salary recently ranges  70 to 80 lakhs, 30 lakhs for the debut of newcomer Hansika Motwani. Amala paul a growing actresses; tapsee; due to the fluctuation in fixing the amount could not be reported correctly.
