Sunaina lights green signal for glamour roles

Sunaina’s case is almost like to actress Priyamani’s case. Despite a slim frame and an hourglass figure coupled with acting powers, Sunaina is not exactly flooded with offers to star in Tamil films.

She debuted in Tamil films with ‘Kaadhalil Vizhunthen’ opposite Nakul. She again paired with him in her second film ‘Masilamani’. Though both the films were hit, her next film ‘Yaadhumaagi’ was a failure. She then made up for it with a neat performance in opposite Arulnidhi in ‘Vamsam’ last year. Sunaina is not seen much after her last film ‘Vamsam’. She says, “After ‘Vamsam’, offers came flooded with similar roles. “I don’t want to get typecast doing the same roles again and agin. I want to do varied roles that speak my talents, both glamour andcharacter roles”. She had to put a lot of weight for the character she did in ‘Vamsam’. The actress is ready with Perarasu’s ‘Thiruthani’, with Bharath in the male lead. She is now listening to stories for her next films.
