When the news broke that naked photos of Scarlet Johansson had been leaked, New Zealanders took to Google to search for them.
Google searches for "Scarlett Johansson" increased by 4050 percent over the seven days from September 11-18, according to Google Insights.
Most of the searches originated in Norway and New Zealand, The Independent reported.
Scarlett Johansson's phone had reportedly been hacked and nude photographs purported to be of the actress were leaked onto the internet.
People worldwide, and particularly in New Zealand, went searching for them.
The most popular variations of the search term "Scarlett Johansson" included "Scarlett Johansson photos" and "Scarlett Johansson leaked."
Her name was the third most-searched term on Google last week.
