Come August and it’s gonna be an ultimate celebration for film buffs as the month is loaded with lots of releases. While the makers of Suriya’s 7aam Arivu have tentatively scheduled the release for the last week of August, Venkat Prabhu has officially confirmed the release of Mankatha will either be on August 12 or 19. The latest to join the August rush is Jeeva starrer Rowthiram that marks the directorial debut of Gokul.
While the audio of Rowthiram is scheduled to hit stores by next week, the producers are planning to release the film for the Independence Day. Since the film revolves around a youngster’s revolt against the social injustice, the makers feels that August 15 is the right occasion to release it.
Meanwhile some of the inside reports mention that Dhayanidhi Alagiri is keen on releasing Mankatha on August 12 as it has a long weekend including Independence Day.
